Greetings from Moonbeam

For my fellow LOST nerds I present to you an entry completely about our favorite show. If you’re not a LOST fan…you should be! Go catch up and come back immediately!

Now, on to the fun stuff.

First of all, I found this last night and it cracks me up.

Sawyer’s Nickname Generator

I’m Moonbeam. With a heart afterward. Loves it. Do us both a favor and try it out. Leave me a comment to tell me what yours is!

Secondly, did you guys all see the latest “Missing Pieces” clip on ABC.com? If you haven’t, please click on the video then we can discuss further.

So, does that change your opinion of the first scene we ever saw? It kindof blew my mind. Mostly because every time we’ve seen Christian Shepard walking around the island, he’s been silent. Also, given his appearance in the premiere last week, it seems his presence on the island is KEY. If you missed him on the premiere, please see the video and screencap below.

So here’s my question: Is Christian actually Jacob? Or is Jacob merely able to bring back all these people who have passed on and are special to our LOSTies? Are the people walking around “ghosts”? If so, I’ll be bummed. Mostly because it’s just a hair short of the entire explanation being, “They’re all dead.”

Truly, I have no clue what the heck is going on. My theories on the island and Jacob were all shot to heck when Hurley was able to see the cabin and Christian. The whispers in the jungle are the CREEPIEST thing ever. I can’t even listen to the audio people are posting around. There’s this weird creaking sound effect that makes me look over my shoulder. They are saying they can hear the following:

“You have to believe it’s me, Nikki”
“Shush”
“Did anyone say something?”
“I said nothing”
“You better not say a f**king thing or talk about Desmond”
“It’s Me”

It seems like a stretch but I really do hear “Desmond”. Like I said, I don’t even want to touch it. SCARY! I will say this much. When Nikki and Paolo died, Damon Lindelof said “Nothing stays buried on this island.” HELLO!

Sidenote, Charlie looks 100 times better dead. What is up with that?

Speaking of the dead rock star. Did you guys happen to see this screencap floating around the interwebs?

I really dig the idea of Hugo being the first of the Oceanic 6 to have doubts about what they did. His penchant for mental instability plus his kind heart make him the prime candidate. The problem is, I’m starting to fear for his future since something happens to make the stoic and resolute Jack become weepy and guilt-ridden. I just hope it has nothing to do with Hurley. Yikes.

Any guesses on who the Oceanic 6 could be? I’m going to say Jack, Kate, Hurley, Jin, Sun and Sayid. I am also betting that none of them are the mysterious person in the coffin from Jack’s flashforward. I am putting all my chips on it being Michael. Still wondering where the heck Walt is, though.

What I want to know from you guys is the following:

1. Do you think the freighter people are really going to kill everyone on the island?

2. Will Locke be able to keep Ben under control?

3. Is Jack going to be able to hold on to Kate? (My bet is she’s running around the island in t-minus two scenes and counting.)

4. Who do you think the Oceanic 6 are?

Leave me comments! I wanna know!

    Yes, Charlie looked fantastic!

I am so glad to hear that you got the heebs from those whispers, too, my DH kept rewinding it and playing it over and over and I was like, “seriously, you need to stop or I’m going to have nightmares all night!” Interesting about that being potential dialogue between Nikki and Paulo. . .I don’t know that I want to see them back. . .we need to start tidying things up on the island, IMO, not muddying the waters even more!

    Here’s what I think about your ?s:

    1. no (but I can’t tell you why)
    2. no because I think there’s part of Locke who is curious enough about the extent of Ben’s powers to let him loose. . .plus Locke has that “I’ve got nothing left to loose/I never want to leave the island” attitude. (And, as an aside, Locke is my least favorite main character.)
    3. NO! (Jack is my 2nd least favorite character, btw)
    4. Jack, Kate, Hurley, Sawyer, Rose and Bernard (but if they hadn’t specified “oceanic” 6, I’d be willing to throw Desmond into my “they make it off the island” bunch, but being that he’s not a survivor of the oceanic crash, that takes his name out of contention, yes?)
