I’ll be awful sometimes…

Oh man, do I love me some Matty Nay. He’s coming to Dallas soon and I cannot WAIT to see him again. Never before have I seen someone give that much of themselves on stage. Except for maybe that guy from CT. Anyway, I was re-reading an entry I had written on Facebook some time ago and was linked to a live performance of Matt’s song, Little Victories. Here it is for your viewing pleasure and the words are included afterward.

Life and no time

I profoundly apologize to any of my faithful readers who have been waiting on an update! The plan was to marathon blog about my vacation when I got home but – wouldn’t you know it – I have had high drama/busy days since the day I got home!

To further complicate the problem my laptop is acting weird so when I powered it up yesterday I got so frustrated I just ended up turning it off!

I am blogging from Ignatius right now (thank you, Apple) so I can’t promise anything too long or too fancy.

In upcoming blogs remind me to review Breaking Dawn, tell you how much Laurel rules and catch you up on my new endeavors this Fall. Keep on the lookout for a BLOG MAKEOVER very soon as well! I must make a list of possible URL names…

Meet my new friend

Oh yeah. I know how to do this!

So phase one of my trip is complete. I flew into Phoenix yesterday and even though I had to wait a while in the airport, it was a good trip.

It actually made me think about the last couple of times I travelled alone and those memories alone made my shoulders relax while I waited. I was also able to get farther in Breaking Dawn. Only left 20 pages for me to devour last night.

The drive from Phoenix to Flagstaff was fun. The first part was light enough for me to really enjoy the scenery. The next part was good because of the company!

Not enough time!

So I am supposed to be packing for the cold weather portion of my vacation right now and all I really seem to be able to do is sit here and not think about it. If you know me at all, you know I get like this before every big trip. I even took a picture of an empty suitcase six hours before a flight a couple of years ago and gave KJ a heart attack. She thought I was coming to Atlanta with only one shirt!!

Best and worst so far

My friends and I have seen every movie worth seeing this summer so far. Monday night we were trying to rank them from best to worst. I’ve decided to give my Top Four and Bottom Four.

Gonna leave this world for a while

It was such a good weekend that it felt almost painful having to return back to reality this morning. I am also feeling the weird detached feeling I get before leaving on vacation (which will begin this saturday) I got a minor haircut so I don’t recognize myself in the mirror yet and to top it all off, Paige is out of town so I really feel out of sorts.

I get in these moods pretty often where I feel like I’m at the top of a huge hill and I’m bracing myself for the free fall downward. That usually means everything is about to change. Hopefully for the better.

I have a really good feeling about some things. I have really strong feelings (that scare me) about other things but overall, it’s gonna rule.

So I don’t know if you know this…

Does anybody remember the best JJ Abrams show ever – Felicity? I was thinking about it tonight and trolled through some moments on YouTube and remembered how much it spoke to me. I mean, if you know anything about the lead character you should know why. She’s me. This video is such a clear arc that could be taken from my own life story.
