So I’ve gotten Paige and Aaron addicted to LOST. Unfortunately, they are both on different points in the seasons! Aaron is still on Season 1 and Paige and I are about half-way through Season 2. At this point it’s cracking me up be watching it over and over again. But at least it makes for some hilarious commentary.
Para example:
If I was dying and my doctor was as committed as Jack Shepherd, I would be happy. Or dead. Either way. Just sayin’.
So good in fact that I can’t even muster the strength to talk about it yet. I’ll stew on it and get back to you.
I can tell you that I got an awesome case for Ignatius (iPhone). It came with a cardboard cut out of an iPhone inside the package. Since Aaron (A-train) has felt left out, I passed it on to him. He started “using” it right away. Which gave me an opportunity to use my favorite feature of the iPhone so far!
I can’t believe he did this right before he came to Texas. Maybe he knew it was 105 here on a daily basis in August?
My Mom is already annoyed by my constant iPhone exploration. I would apologize but I don’t exactly feel bad! This device existed in my head long before Steve Jobs stood on a stage and announced it’s launch two years ago. (more…)
For those of you playing along at home, you might be interested to know that I am blogging FROM my iPhone. The WordPress app actually! So far so good. I will definitely be blogging from home more often than not, though. All you need to know is that iPhone and I are together… At long last!!
So, my iPhone shipped last night! I am still in shock. Right now (approx 4pm) it is sitting at a FedEx facility in Ft. Worth, waiting to be picked up. The estimated arrival date was four hours ago. So clearly it’s not in my hands yet. AT&T really shouldn’t have been in charge of the whole ordering/shipping mess. As much as I love my cellular service, they are seriously lacking in organization.
My order reappeared today so everybody keep your fingers crossed! If all goes as planned, I might even get my phone before I leave for vacation!
The new X-Files movie comes out tomorrow. I can’t wait! I watched a special about the movie today and they couldn’t even reveal the plot! Chris Carter wrote and directed the movie and apparently you don’t have to be a fan of the show to understand it or enjoy it. I’m SO EXCITED. I have seen every single episode of the show and the added storyline, mythology free is just bonus material. Plus, it seems like Mulder and Scully might actually lock lips on the big screen. Let’s hope so! It’s only been 15 years.
So when I went to check my iPhone order status today…it wasn’t there. I have no idea if it’s a temporary glitch or what but the lady at AT&T couldn’t answer my question. As of right now, I’m going to continue to believe my iPhone is no more.
I guess I’ll end up placing another order but right now it just feels like a sign from above. Maybe I’ll need that money soon and I just don’t know it yet. I’m bummed, though.
Have I brought up the fact that I am pretty sure I have the most amazing friends on the planet? I was reminded all day. I’m not exactly sure if I deserve the blessing but I’m absolutely thankful for it!
