Close but no new mattress

I moved over most of the boxes today – a good way to make good on a day off work. It’s slowly coming together. I was hoping to get everything over there today and sleep over there tonight. Didn’t make it, though.

This week has been so crazy! I’ve been juggling events with friends and filling in for sick friends at work…add in the moving and it’s a wonder I got any sleep at all!

Open Mic night tonight – the last qualifiying round for “Seekers Idol”. I have decided that the entire competition is rigged.

New week – new music

So, it’s the start of a new week and I actually have really high expectations for this week. So many things have been swimming around and I just have a gut feeling that it’ll all come together nicely in the next seven days.

In honor of the new week and because I was in need of some aural refreshment, I would love to share my brand new obsession with you.

Perhaps it’s yet another side effect of reading so much Twilight lately but this band just called out to me.

So recently Johnny M cut his hair. He combed it for the paps and said he was attempting to look like his hero, Michael J. Fox.

All I really want to do is…

Today my goal was to get all my books put out into my new bookshelves. I must say, it was really really fun to see all my friends again. The problem was, it made me really sad that I couldn’t just sit and read all day. Even more sad that I couldn’t leave town and write until my hand fell off.

I should definitely be sleeping

Long day today.

Running on fumes

I am exhuasted but I just wanted to check in and say that today was a long but good day. Took a trip to Ikea and got some shelving that we were too tired to put together this evening. That’s on the list for tomorrow. Right now, after I caught up on American Idol, I’m ready for sleep.
