Living is easy with eyes closed

The Beatles run through my blood. I can’t express how much their music has affected my life. Although, there is no way to overstate the massive effect The Beatles have had on music, art and culture all over the world. I have to say – one of the greatest examples is the massively brilliant movie Across the Universe.

I have been wanting to see this movie since it came out but the timing could not have been more perfect. I finally saw it last night and it has put me in the BEST mood! My review ensues below so if you haven’t seen it, don’t click! Go watch and then come back!

Just getting better.

Got to head out and crop with my girls again tonight. (Missed you, Banana!)  I had a good time but creatively, I definitely ran out of steam early. I’ve got SO many ideas right now and my energy level is just waning. I’m working on a project that I started in December, people. I’m almost done, though.

Hey, Joe!

So, I totally stared at this man in baggage claim tonight and the look I was giving him was, “Don’t know you.” Even though I saw a fan approaching him as soon as he got off his cell phone.

The answer, my friend?

Is not blowing in the wind. In fact, I’m pretty sure the only thing blowin’ in the wind right now is pollen. And maybe dander. You know, things that make my head sorry it’s got sinuses. All I know is, besides the fact that it blows my hair into my mouth and in turn makes lip gloss end up everywhere…this crazy wind is totally putting me in a bad mood. Plus, living on a hill with no trees means it sounds like our house is going to blow away in the middle of the night.

There better be some Spring on the other end of these gusts. For really.

What the hell happened to Keane? Under the Iron Sea ruled my world Summer of 06. (“I just want to call it ’six’.”) I MISS THEM! Anyone know what’s up?

Took me long enough!

So I don’t know if some of you guys know this about me but I a couple of years ago, I fully intended to devote my life to writing. Sometimes I think life gets in the way of the constant stream of words in my head, making it impossible to write it all down. So really, I’m writing all day long. Moments are filed away to come pouring out when I need them.

Paris changes everything

Let me just say, my DVR is my best friend. I totally forgot that my guilty pleasure premiered last night but DVR remembered! So did my sister-in-law, cause I got an excited text from her!
